for humanitarian agencies
We are a global network of hundreds of trained and experienced digital humanitarians.
We help improve humanitarian response by improving the information available to agencies.
In particular we specialise in:
- crisis-mapping (building a map of reports of damage, requests for help or offers of assistance)
- information management (collating information from a wide range of sources and making it useful for humanitarian agencies)
- rapid 3W reporting (producing data on which agencies are responding, what they are doing and where they are going based on their public statements not cluster reporting on the ground)
- remote assessments of damage, IDP location or other requirements using satellite or aerial imagery
We aim to respond within hours of a natural disaster or other humanitarian emergency and work 24/7 for up to four weeks.
