SBTF collaborates with Rappler on Hagpuit/Ruby deployment

The Standby Task Force is officially deploying in response to a Digital Humanitarian Network (DHN) request from UNOCHA to assist with media monitoring and mapping for Typhoon Hagpuit (Ruby). The typhoon is due to make landfall in the Philippines at 18:00 UTC on Saturday, December 6th.
We will use the Micromappers and Verily technologies provided by QCRI and collaborate on this deployment with the volunteers from Rappler in the Phillipines. The collaboration will be of great value to the project, and also prevent double work from two engaged communitites.
